There are certainly too many acronyms out there.  Usually the following 
definitions are applied:

SWT = Eclipse Standard Widget Toolkit - The graphical widget set of Eclipse
WTK = A "Wireless Toolkit". 

I suppose you might use SWTK to mean Sun's WTK, but I've never seen that 
done <grin>

To answer your question about WTK for Linux.  The latest that is 
available on Linux has been the 2.2 version (which is quite old).  At 
the moment, I can't seem to find that download on Sun's website.  I've 
heard rumor that now that 2.5 has gone final that they will make a Linux 
version, but I have no idea if there is actual truth in that rumor.  As 
it stands, Windows users get the best support from the Sun WTK.  You 
might also try the mpowerplayer support on Linux.
