Yes, I re-imported the device settings.

It does not work regardless of which run / debug option I use. 
  (Ctrl+F11, F11, Run History, Run, Debug History, Debug)

I just tried it with the S40 3rd Edition emulator (it also uses the jar to run) 
and am seeing the same behavior.
