Hey ! Is there any possibility in J2ME to get the subnetmask of a serverSocketConnection ? and not just the ipAddress. I am trying to implement somekind of Discovering Mode, but since Multicast and Boradcast are not supported i am trying to scan my IP-Net. To enhance performance my subnet will be little, a /29 or something, but i don't wanna hardcode it.
