Well, actually I don't have the real phone yet, so I'm just working with the
moto emulator. I did make a 'hello world' which I built and executed
through that emulator, and that worked fine. I also did a 'hello world' for
the Sun WTK 2.5.2, which I built using EclipseME, and that ran fine in Sun's
emulator.

I'm using the iDEN SDK for J2ME (MIDP 2.0), which can be found after a free
registration at http://developer.motorola.com/ Once you're logged in, you
should be able to download the sdk from
https://developer.motorola.com/docstools/sdks/i930/i930_SDK.zip/ (if the
link doesn't work for you, browse to the i930 phone, and you'll be able to
download from there, it's pretty easy to find)
I remember some troubles with Moto SDKs almost a year ago - maybe that
