Hi Didier, I just built on a Debian Linux/x86_64 and it seems to work
$ ~/bin/ecl -eval '(print (ext::getenv "PATH"))' -eval '(si::quit)'
"/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games"
Can you try this?
What flags are you using?
