64k is pretty small for many libraries out there that build tons of data.
cl-unicode used to be one of those, for instance. What you suggest about
embedded resources is a Windows specific solution that requires changing
the build process. Right now I do not feel very confident about it, but I
will welcome any patches in this respect.
