I've tested again and it seems to work ok. Please make sure you have the latest install package (http://svn.nuxeo.org/trac/nuxeo/browser/browser-extensions/NXIEHelper/trunk/NxIEHelperSetup/SvnDebug/Nuxeo-MSIEBrowserExtension.exe) The logs are located in C:\Docs and Settings\_username_\ApplicationData\Nuxeo\_Logs Project: Nuxeo Enterprise Platform 5 Components: Desktop Integration Affects Versions: 5.0.0 GA Fix Versions: 5.1 M1  Description    When i upload a PDF, or a doc with the IE helper, the document is recognized by Nuxeo as a raw binary file (01 icon) and not the appropriate type (whereas it works with the Firefox plugin). It is not possible to do a liveedit with this document since the type is not well set.
