Several issues in one.
1) Main leak in dashboards has been solved. It was actually a matter of practice in the (absolutely necessary) caching of results. We're now trying to make it standard and easy to implement.
2) ResultDocumentModel are designed to be lightweight core-detached implementations of DocumentModel. It is therefore a bug in itself to get JCRDocument instances in dashboards. I'll have to investigate on that, too.

M2 has a memory leak that makes the application unusable after about 1h of heavy use
