I ported the ExternalEdit WebService on branch. You can check it from
https://svn.nuxeo.org/nuxeo/sandbox/nuxeo-platform-ws-jaxws
In there you can find a Readme.txt file explaining how to deploy and start the
WS and also how can be tested with a sample application.
Please note that the bootstrap file is changed now, it doesn't store anymore
the content of the file. The content (and any other property) can be obtained
directly from WS.
Please also note that we are using WS-Addressing and MTOM (besides others). I
only tested with JBoss 4.0.5, I have the feeling that JAXWS and Metro doesn't
work well with JBoss 4.0.4.

I've created a zip file with my instance of running JBoss, in case you have
trouble setting up the web services. It is located in
http://public.dev.nuxeo.com/~jcarsique/rdarlea-jboss/jboss-4.0.5.GA.zip.
You can: download it, unzip, start JBoss. If everything is correctly set (JRE
1.5.0, correct start of JBoss), you can check the existence of the web services
after JBoss started at http://localhost:8080/nuxeo/nuxeoAccess and
http://localhost:8080/nuxeo/nuxeoEEWS, which should point to WSDLs.
You also can login as Administrator/Administrator. Inside the running instance
