Hi
The addon was used on a Windows machine. The defaults are pointing to unusable
locations and executables (/tmp and gedit). As result, the browser fails to
load the bootstrap file and to save it:

The Control Panel of the addon doesn't allow saving the changes (appears to be
a bug). After repacking a xpi with the default paths usable on Windows
(C:\\Temp and C:\\WINDOWS\\NOTEPAD.EXE), it worked.
I think we should see what is the problem of the Control Panel, otherwise the
xpi is unusable on Windows.
