Olivier Grisel updated NXP-1638:
--------------------------------
Deliverable: [Code, Document] (was: [Document, Code])
Description:
The new conventions are:
- descriptive project names
- no more CamelCase in project names
- all generated binary packages should carry their version number in the
filename to avoid 5 days email / phone exchanges with clients to know
wich version they have installed
- once installed on the client platform, all extensions should display
the same version numbers either in the windows control panel or in
the application help / about UI panels.
The http://updates.nuxeo.org and
https://svn.nuxeo.org/trac/nuxeo/wiki/Downloads pages should be updated to
clearly mention de version numbers of the binary plugins and the version of
Nuxeo EP they are expected to work with (and stop calling them stable /
unstable).
This is currently extremely confusing to try and guess which version should be
used.
