office 97 was not using com add ins. This is making reusing the existing addin
difficult. the addin is not fully working in office 2000.
office 97 com interop is not exposing the event api necessary to have save when
closed (only excel 97 does)
the solution chosen is
- support only the edit action
- monitor (using .net) the document lock state. When the lock is released, the
file is sent to the server
