This was initially done in the jackrabbit_1.4 branch.
It's backported in part to the core 1.4 branch in 415c3de68d72 and merged to
1.5 in 42388e837b6e.
What's not backported is the actual use of the LIMIT in Jackrabbit queries, as
Jackrabbit 1.3 doesn't support them.
Also, the NXQL syntax was changed to LIMIT x OFFSET y instead of LIMIT y, x.
