Manually notification gives an error

Environment: I have installed Nuxeo 5.2 RC1 in a Windows XP
environment.
I have configured a Novell LDAP for user authentication.

I configured email notification following the steps in nuxeo-book.
After that automatic notifications as suscriptions works fine, but manually
notification gives an error.
Step by step:
1) Login Nuxeo
2) View a document
3) Clic in the email icon to send a notification
4) Select a Nuxeo user and send the e-mail.
