Alex Mosin commented on LIVED-105:
----------------------------------

Just tested the issue upon OpenOffice 3.1.1 (the latest stable for today). The
document exported as *.doc is opened normally in LiveEdit with MSO2007.

However the problem is in the NLE for MSO - the doc files created with the
older OOo and being saved locally could be opened with MS Office without any
problem.

I think generally that is not a big issue But it became so when you deal with
obsolete documents (created in older OOo versions) in organizations with mixed
office suites - OOo plus MSO. There could be a lot of documents which have to
be converted to the newer version of doc format.

> Error when opening *.doc document created with OOo in LiveEdit (using MSO
> 2007)
