Combining Active Directory and Nuxeo groups
-------------------------------------------
Key: NXP-4652
URL: http://jira.nuxeo.org/browse/NXP-4652
Project: Nuxeo Enterprise Platform
Issue Type: Question
Components: Directory
Reporter: Patrick Defives
Upon our integrator's advice, we used our Active Directory to automatically
define the groups used in Nuxeo, which is great, and makes our lives easier for
Nuxeo administration.
The groups defined in our Active Directory are relative to our organization,
which meets our needs for documents right management. However, in our
specifications, we expressed the need of creating "work groups" (gathering
people worked on a object/project) that we would use for notifications for
example. Our integrator explained us that we could either use the Active
Directory, or Nuxeo groups, but that we could not combine both.
Is there really no possibility to use both the Active Directory and Nuxeo
groups function?
