Problem with hierarchical vocabulary on Oracle
-----------------------------------------------
Key: NXP-6172
URL: https://jira.nuxeo.org/browse/NXP-6172
Project: Nuxeo Enterprise Platform
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 5.4.0.1
Reporter: Mariana Cedica
Fix For: 5.4.1
When creating/editing documents having a layout widget bound to a hierarchical
vocabulary, the values from the vocabulary are not displayed.
For the values in the vocabulary considered as parents, the parent is empty. In
this case, on an Oracle database, in the corresponding table the "parent" field
is null.
So a query like :
select * from "studio_hierarchical_vocabulary" where "obsolete" = 0 AND
"parent" = "" order by "ordering" asc,"id" asc
doesn't return anything . ( Note that zero-length identifier are illegal in
Oracle).
The fix for Oracle is to change this to : AND "parent" IS NULL .
