Customized advanced search doesn't work

When I customize the advanced search form and try to search all documents (by
clicking Search without filling the form), it doesn't find result. When I
search on a vocabulary that works in virtual navigation, it doesn't find any
document either.
If I try to search on full text, it returns all the documents, not just the
document it should find.
