When I filter workspace to find documents modified until today, it doesn't

I want to filter the content of my workspace to display only documents modified
today (all my documents were created this afternoon).
* When I select the modification dates from may 18 to May 18, no document is
found.
* When I select the modification dates from may 17 to May 18, no document is
found.
* When I select the modification dates from may 18 to May 19, it finds the
documents modified today.
I suppose it has something to do with the time, but the date selection widget
doesn't display any time.
