Under some conditions (still to be determined) moving a gadget to another unit
can fail, OR can succeed but gadget is in a wrong position OR can fail and
duplicates gadget's user preferences. We had cases where gadget had 40 or 70
thousands user preferences, meaning container took a long time to load them.
