name of Case in case view panel should not have case item in parenthesis

For my case named projectABC I have 3 case items:
ci1
ci2
ci3
When I click on the case node in the tree the case is shown on the right with
name projectABC(ci1).
Only the name of the case should be displayed and not the first caseItem in
parenthesis. Currently it is difficult for
the user to know if he/she is on the Case or the Case item view.
