I had no idea of the existence of the "Shared" feature of Excel before running
into that issue, and I see no use for that flag for a document inside Nuxeo,
since Nuxeo itself is in charge of the sharing and versioning. See

for instance for some more details.
I don't know why the flag got set in the first place : we dont use that
feature, and all people having encountered the issue had no idea of the
existence of the feature or its use.
Maybe is it possible to check for that flag and "unshare" the document if it is
opened in LiveEdit ?
