For copy / move you can use post-action events, no need to be "before". And
they can be asynchronous if needed and acceptable. For remove we need to be
"before" and synchronous to count what's about to be removed.
Exactly the same code logic can be used to compute quotas (total size of
files), it would be a pity not to code this at the same time in the same code
base.
