Ok i removed the stack.png and the engine.png
I like the drawings too (but maybe it's a thing that i have).
Here's the thing : i think you like the wave (it is kinda cool) because it's
hi-res, and not pixellated with the ISTOCKPHOTO watermark over it. Because for
example i find supag.png better.
Aussi, i think that wave and abstract figures are a bit meaningless stock art :
i saw one of the wave we selected and used in Nuxeo world 2010 searches on the
cover of a partner's proposal, near the printer here at Nuxeo. I think
illustration, even if seen at first as not-serious, brings a real identity to
the platform. The login screen must strike minds (frapper les esprits),
something that you find cool and remember. The platform itself is not really
funny, very technical. It's the occasion to be a little crazy and bring some
colors. Personnally i like space-pattern2 and dbz.png.
I'll build the login screen that wins, no matter what i think of course. Will
wait for Roland and Jane advices, then maybe extend the poll to marketing, dev
and interne, wdyt ?
