There should be a generic method on seam component "selectionActions" to
retrieve the selected value on a selection component, and set it on another
component (to generate a preview on another widget for instance).
The only other option used for now consists in saving the selected value on a
backing bean, which is annoying and adds other problems (like invalidation of
the saved value).
