here is a list of updates done in NXThemes, I've done an animation:

it shows:
- switching between pages (default / workspace) through a view id <->
page association (it is already used in Nuxeo5 in the dashboard screen)
- entering the theme editor using access keys (<ALT> + '_' in
firefox/mozilla). BTW other access keys can be registered as "shortcut
extension points".
- associating view names on fragments (in this example we switch between
"nuxeo logo" and "nuxeo logo (light)"
- duplicating fragments (note that the widgets, styles and formats in
general associated to a fragment are not duplicated, i.e. two or more
fragments can share the same format)
- switching between perspectives (see the perspective selector top right
of the screen)
- controlling the visibility of fragment (visibility tab). Basically one
chooses the perspectives in which fragments are visible. This is very
much as in Eclipse, except that the layout is fixed.
- updating element properties
- exporting themes
