OK, this is beginning to look like something :-)
there is now support for presets in the style editor, with a preview
window that makes it easier to choose between the different values
available. Presets are classified by categories (font, color, ..)

this is for the presets only, obviously there needs to be a more generic
color picker, font chooser (as in photoshop), ... that is not limited to
existing preset values.
