Hi,
This was a problem in the past, but right now, the mime types are sent
from the client side, when a file is uploaded via drag'n drop. Are you
using the latest version of MS IE Browser extension ?
If you are, is this happening only with the pdf files, or with others
file types too (word, excel etc) ?

Hi,
I drag and drop a PDF file in IE and the file is no recognized as a PDF :
2007-03-26 17:16:41,998 DEBUG
[org.nuxeo.ecm.webapp.filemanager.FileManageActionsBean] With String :
JI002181.07.pdf
2007-03-26 17:16:41,999 DEBUG
[org.jboss.ejb3.entity.ExtendedPersistenceContextPropagationInterceptor]
++++ LongLivedSessionPropagationInterceptor
2007-03-26 17:16:42,012 DEBUG
[org.nuxeo.ecm.webapp.filemanager.FileManageActionsBean] mime :
application/octet-stream
But if I do it with Firefox, it is recogized as a PDF :
2007-03-26 17:17:14,706 DEBUG
[org.nuxeo.ecm.webapp.filemanager.FileManageActionsBean] With String :
JI002181.07.pdf
2007-03-26 17:17:14,707 DEBUG
[org.jboss.ejb3.entity.ExtendedPersistenceContextPropagationInterceptor]
++++ LongLivedSessionPropagationInterceptor
2007-03-26 17:17:14,720 DEBUG
[org.nuxeo.ecm.webapp.filemanager.FileManageActionsBean] mime :
application/pdf
That is a problem because my filemanager plugin (associated with
mimetype pdf) is not called when IE is used.
I see that an issue (NXP-553) was opened and resolved, is it the same
issue ?
