Hi,
We're going to do the switch to a maven-base source tree
organization and build this week-end.
From now on, please avoid making non-trivial changes to the
repository (things under src are still ok, but don't split
packages, or add/remove resources or OSGI-INF or such, or move any
directory).
Also please be aware that your checkouts will become invalid during
the weekend, so keep patches at hand for your local sources. SVN
should never erase your data anyway unless you tell it to, but be
careful doing that.
You'll have to recreate a new Eclipse workspace, note that a
preparation phase like "mvn eclipse:eclipse" will be needed just
after a checkout, we'll give more details on that later. Note that
we won't depend on the m2eclipse plugin anymore, as mvn
eclipse:eclipse writes correct .classpath files.
For other IDEs, I'm sure there are other ways :)
For IDEA: run 'mvn idea:idea' and then open generated .ipr file from
IDEA.
For NetBeans:
1. Download NetBean 6.0m8 (not tried from a more recent one).
2. From the "Tools > Update center" menu, download the Maven 2
NetBeans plugin.
3. Restart.
4. Open your project from NetBean
5. Not sure what to do next but it seems to work :)
