The Tutorial may be a bit outdated with respect to some file paths.
Have you looked at the nuxeo sample project ?
It's available in svn at:
https://svn.nuxeo.org/nuxeo/org.nuxeo.project.sample/trunk
and it contains a simple example with all the files in the right
place, which you can then customize to your liking.
