Hello guys,

It says on the main nuxeo site that the latest release is not of production quality but that it is feature-complete.

There are two versions highlighted on the download page on nuxeo.org:

A) 5.1.0.M3, which is a development milestone. It has all the features we expect in the next stable release.

We plan to issue a stable release from the development milestone next week, it will be called 5.1.0.GA.

B) 5.0.0.GA which is 4 months old, which has been put in production in some places, but it now well behind in terms of features.

Can someone please explain what that means in a bit more detail?
Is it still quite buggy? Is that why it is not production-ready?
I am in an environment where OpenImage is being used and has been used for several years. In my opinion OpenImage is not ready for production use either due to low quality. From what I have seen of nuxeo so far I am willing to bet that the quality of nuxeo is far better
than that of OpenImage. But some details would be nice....

I hope my comment above made it clearer.

Also, what is meant by feature-complete? Does that means that new functionality is no longer anticipated? I hope not. I am hoping that it will be possible to make the workflow configurable.

It is (almost) feature complete wrt the upcoming stable release.

Of course, we won't stop development after the release, we have a roadmap for new features for at least one year, see:

http://www.nuxeo.org/sections/about/roadmap

I need a workflow where multiple documents have to rendezvous before the first review can occur and after the first review there is a second review. I am not sure but I don't think nuxeo will support
that right now. I hope someone can clarify this please.

The workflow is configurable, using XML file.

We're working on writing some documentation, which should appear here:

http://doc.nuxeo.org/5.1/html/workflow-service.html (this is currently just a draft, and the image are missing for technical issues in the docbook -> html process).
