Hi,
We are working on moving to a production database. The preliminary
results are:
1. Oracle seems to work. But we need some time to finish.
Yes, we have already tested Nuxeo5 on Oracle : for Repository
(JackRabbit), the directories, the relations and the Search service.
It works with Oracle thin JDBC driver.
It should also work with OCI (but we could not validate this because
of OCI configuration issue on Solaris).
2. MS SQL Server doesn't work with Jackrabbit (see my post "Set up
the repository on MS SQL Server").
Too bad, but I guess this is purely a JR issue.
We will provide information on switching to Oracle as soon as we
finish.
We are interested in MySQL as well. It would be nice if somebody
else helped us :-)
MySQL setup should be quite simple : just change the JDBC config and
the schema.
I'll try to update the doc soon.

Dear Stefane,
I'd like to install Nuxeo on "real" database. Oracle is
preferred but
MySQL and Portgres are Ok.
Could you help me with instructions in this respect?

Hi,
some questions:
* there is any recommended open source RDBMS for production?
* is it recommended to use the RDBMS for the other then the core
nuxeo services (transaction or alignement between HSQLDB and the
other RDBMS)
* if I use trunk and an RDBMS, I have to override the RDBMS
configuration files everytime I deploy?
Thanks
Mirto
