to be refered to in messages.properties.... maybe
myschema.myfield=My label string for the field?
If you customize the template you can adopt the naming
strategy that suits ou the best. I agree that the current
hardcoded convention is really limiting.

convention because I don't know that convention, please

if I have a schema named pa tient with a filed named 'age' I
have to put the label in my messages_xx.properties as
patient.age=Patient age ?
You can add an attribute label="patient.age" to your widget
configuration. otherwise by default the field name will be used so you
would have to put "age=Patient age" in your messages.properties file.
