Hi Alain,
I think I had JRE 1.6.X. I would never have guessed. For some
reason I though it should be backward compatible.
So did we, initially :(
Actually, it's not our fault, it's JBoss' fault (or someone else's).
Anyway, it will go away when we will switch to a more recent version
of JBoss, JBoss 4.2 for instance (which works OK with Java 6 and even
OpenJDK, aka Java 7, according to some reports).
Of course, if anyone in the community is willing to help with the
"port" (Thierry can provide the details of what needs to be done if
you're interested), they're very welcome.
Thanks for that! I am able to start up nuxeo.
Good :)

Hi,
I downloaded the Nuxeo 5.1.2.GA installer and successfully
installed it on a Windows XP PC.
The install and run were successful with no error messages, but
when I try to access nuxeo (http://localhost:8080/nuxeo/) I get a
404 error.
I am able to see http://localhost:8080/ page that displays JBoss
settings.
Any ideas on what I am missing?
Thanks,
Meher
