Hi,
Saw within the post on 'comparing Nuxeo to similar ECM' a mention
to Web Content Management and wondered where is Nuxeo 5 in this
respect. As far as I'm aware there currently is no ability, or am
I wrong?
To my knowledge, no. But full web services stack is planned for
EP-5.2.
See updated roadmap that Stephan posted a couple weeks ago.

"*Full web services (WS-*) API based on the JAX-WS stack"
Is "web services" the same thing as WCM?
No.
I thought WCM would help manage the pages of a website (simplified
explanation) while web services exposed the nuxeo platform
functionality to requests made by the ws-* protocols.
Yes, that's correct. WCM and WS-* have nothing to do with each other
really.
I hope I'm wrong since I really would like nuxeo to support at least
some functionality in the WCM.
The WCM world is so vast and unstandardized that it's hard to make a
generic tool for it.
If you state your needs we give you advice on how to fulfill them with
Nuxeo EP.
