Do you have any error/warning message in the logs on when trying to login or using the user management UI to search for groups? You can also find some additional documentation on LDAP setup here: http://svn.nuxeo.org/nxpointdoc/org.nuxeo.ecm.directory.ldap.LDAPDirectoryFactory.html A good way to find configuration mistake it to use a LDAP client such as LDAPStudio ( http://directory.apache.org/studio/ ) and copy and paste the values of the search parameters in the LDAP search form and see if it can find the expected results.
