We have an issue regarding the search component of nuxeo and we were
wondering if you could help us. We are developing a project for a french
customer and he wants us to configure the search engine to be able to
work well with accents - that means ignoring them in the search process.
We have configured it to use the FrenchAnalyzer provided by lucene,
but this has a strange behaviour.
For example :
_Example 1_ :
In the database, there are these two indicators :
- Entrant Itinéris
- Conso sortante Itineris
When I search for "itinéris" : the two of them are returned. => OK!
When I search for "itineris" : the two of them are returned. => OK!
When I search for "ITINERIS" : none of them are returned. => non OK!
_Example 2_ :
In the database, there are these two indicators :
- CA équipement
- CA équipement social
When I search for "équipement" : the two of them are returned. => OK!
When I search for "equipement" : none of them are returned. => non OK! :-(
When I search for "EQUIPEMENT" : none of them are returned. => non OK! :-(
What do you think ? Is there any way we could meet their requirements
regarding this feature of nuxeo ?
