Hi, I think it is a good idea to start with creating new fragments, portlets and restlets, to get a good picture of how to develop with Nuxeo.
You can find some examples in this public subversion repository: http://svn2.yerbabuena.es/pub/products/j2ee/demo/trunk/ We have to organize better this repo, but I think it will be useful for you and others. Very soon, we are going to publish a blog with howtos to explain all these examples. Regards.
