I'm having problems connecting to a to an Nuxeo 5.2.0.M1 server
with an Nuxeo Eclipse RCP client. I followed the instructions found here
http://doc.nuxeo.org/5.1/books/nuxeo-rcp-book/html/rcp-overview.html
and installed the plugin in my Eclipse the alternative way (through the update
site). Everything seem to work but it's impossible to connect to the server. I
can add a Platform but when I click "Start Session" I just get a Connection
Error (Error connecting to server socket://192.168.0.140:62474) .

So far I have found 2 tips how to solve this problem
1. Bind Nuxeo EP to the IP-address (or DNS address) of the computer running
Nuxeo EP. This is described in the 2.4.1 section of the
http://doc.nuxeo.org/5.1/books/nuxeo-rcp-book/html/rcp-overview.html
document. One strange thing is that in "core-events-ds.xml" "localhost" is only
used in parts that have been commented out! So replaing them with the IP
address will not make that much of a difference.
2. Make sure JBoss use IPv4 and not IPV6 when running on Linux. The fix is
mentioned here
http://doc.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/NetworkConnectionProblemsOnLinux
But even after applying these 2 fixes its still impossible to connect to the
server :-( Is there anything else I might try before I give up?

I must probably add that I'm running Nuxeo with Java 6 if that might be the
source of the problem. If it is then I must just sadly accept that I'll have to
wait for the next version of Nuxeo that supports Java 6.
