Hi, Nuxeo intergrates Quartz and exposes it through a configurable extension point. The full doc isn't written in the book yet, but just have a look at http://doc.nuxeo.org/5.1/components/org.nuxeo.ecm.platform.scheduler.core.service.SchedulerRegistryService.html and write a Core listener to treat your event and do what you want.
