To edit language file, we recommand using either: http://resourcebundleeditor.dev.java.net/ a stand alone resource editor http://sourceforge.net/projects/eclipse-rbe an eclipse plugin You should translate messages_en.properties or messages_fr.properties since they are the only one maintained by Nuxeo developers.
