Hi,

JAX-RS is very much a part of what we're doing right now. A large part of our WebEngine framework relies on JAX-RS to provide easy URL decoding and page building. This is what we're using RESTEasy for.

Here's an example of us using it to build a small wiki:
http://hg.nuxeo.org/nuxeo/nuxeo-webengine/file/5.2/nuxeo-webengine-wiki/src/main/java/wiki/

A quick doc is available in the default application, you can view it online here:
http://hg.nuxeo.org/nuxeo/nuxeo-webengine/file/5.2/nuxeo-webengine-base/src/main/resources/skin/help/nuxeo-webengine-doc.wiki

But this is going to be tremendously improved in the doc soon.

Hi,

Can someone from Nuxeo chime in regarding plans to support JAX-RS for RESTful APIs of the platform? More specifically, are there any plans to replace Restlet-based Nuxeo resources in nuxeo-platform/ nuxeo-platform-ui-web/src/main/java/org/nuxeo/ecm/platform/ui/web/ restAPI with JAX-RS based resources?

I see a patch recently added to RESTEasy at http://maven.nuxeo.org/nexus/content/groups/public/org/jboss/resteasy/resteasy-jaxrs/1.0.2.GA-nx/ , however, not sure where RESTEasy is used.

You can use a mercurial client, or you can use the "zip" link at the top (which I've just activated).

For instance go to
 http://hg.nuxeo.org/addons/nuxeo-platform-restpack/archive/5.2.zip
to get the 5.2 branch.
