There is no any previously installed JBPM tables under NUXEO schema. I created 
a completely new schema NUXEO. When Nuxeo starts, I can see some JBPM_ tables 
are created, some are not. So something is not work properly with 
Nuxeo/JBPM/Oracle combination.

I would advise you to leave the compass indexes on  the filesytem instead of 
using the JDBC backend which has a couple of problems when it grows to much.

It looks like the JPBM configuration decided to update a partially existing set 
of tables and is missing some of them (e.g.
JBPM_TASKINSTANCE).

Are you sure you had no previous partial installation of JPBM tables in that 
database? Have you tried to drop the complete database and restart jboss / 
nuxeo (provided you don't have any valuable data in it)?
