I understand Nuxeo is currently working on Cloud and Multitenancy support for an upcoming release. Now that Google App Engine supports Java, are you planning on the upcoming Nuxeo release being able to run on it?

My mind is spinning with the possibilities of combining Nuxeo/Google App Engine/Google Web Toolkit/Google Docs/Flex ........

We've had a look, yes, but it's a long shot, as GAE/j:
- only stores data in its special database, so we'd have to write a Storage connector for it, as well as a Directory,
- doesn't have JNDI,
- limits classloader manipulations,
- limits projects to 1000 class files,
- forbids threads.

These are quite big limitations for a full Nuxeo. It may be possible to run a bare-bones Nuxeo with only WebEngine though, but the first step would still be to write a Google Datastore connector. We'll look at that eventually.
