Not in production no, there are concurrency problems (H2 has very
coarse grained locks in concurrent access unless you use the
(experimental) MVCC mode), and H2 is still quite young in general and
not optimized in many areas. But it's very fast for unit tests and to
explore Nuxeo functionality.
The database we recommend, and support best, is PostgreSQL 8.3.
