Thanks Alex for you advise, I could see the Workflow tab for the new document type by contributing to actions-contrib.
This will only display the workflow tab, but not the workflow types. To display Workflow types (parallel,approbation) ,I contributed to workflow-contrib using extension for org.nuxeo.ecm.platform.jbpm.core.JbpmService. On doing this it displays the workflow types Parallel and Approval. I am trying to associate a custom workflow type. Please advise what are the steps required to create a new workflow type and associate to any document type. I have gone thru the nuxeo documentation for jbpm and workflow, tried a few things not with much success.
