What so you mean by "now all fail again". Is it the first error you posted in thread?
You don't need to modify the "network.http.accept.default" by hand, it is only as last resort operation. But you can check it to be sure it is what is expected to be there. So, if you installed protocol handler for FF (version 0.4.6), go to addon configuration and do what I previous posted: "If you want to use Nuxeo FF protocol handler, be sure to have the "Preserve compatibility" unchecked and some dummy changes there to force the reload of the types in the browser settings." Check and uncheck "Preserve compatibility", add the correct mime types you want to be managed, restart firefox.
