Hi, The tomcat distribution does not (currently) run a full DM : but only Core + WebEngine.
We are currently working on having EP or DM deploy in Tomcat as it does in Jetty. There is a lot of work because we have make all services run without a Transaction Manager and without any JEE features (like JCA connector). This should be ready for the GA. Nevertheless, keep in mind that Tomcat has no transaction manager and then is not safe (+ no JCA connector). We may publish a tomcat bundle that include a Tx manager in the next weeks.
