seam hot reload : http://doc.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/SeamJSFHotReload pure xml components hot reload : http://lists.nuxeo.com/pipermail/nuxeo-dev/2009-April/000235.html and as said by Bruce, you 'd better use jetty distrib or the soon to come tomcat distrib to accelerate your restart time.
