Oracle 11 support seems to be a hibernate issue. Trying to use 11g with Nuxeo is throwing unknown major version [11].
According to JIRA, setting <property name="hibernate.dialect" value="org.hibernate.dialect.Oracle10gDialect"/> in persistence.xml should resolve the issue. I've had no luck adding this when trying to use Nuxeo 5.3 with Oracle 11.2.
